Electrification of Adavi Eba Communities Almost Completed – Kogi Rural Development Commissioner


 

 

The Kogi State Commissioner for Rural Development, Hon. Daniel Oniel Ejigbo has assured that soon work on the ongoing electrification of Opetu, Ebachi, Apasi, Adoza and Irevure Communities in Adavi Eba, Adavi LGA, would be completed, expressed optimism that when completed it would help boost the economic potentials of the area and its environs.

The Commissioner made the disclosure in a chat with Newsmen, said the release of the sum of over N86m for the rural electrification project, underscored the Gov. Yahaya Bello’s administration commitment to boost the economic drive of the State.

Hon. Daniel equally observered that the ongoing electrification project when completed, aside lightning up the communities in Adavi —Eba, has the multiplier effect of boosting the socio economic development of the Area and the State in general.

Hon. Daniel praised the State Governor, Alh. Yahaya Adoza Bello for graciously making available the provision of four numbers of 500kva transformers and installation to Adavi eba Ward in Adavi LG of the State, assured that more communities would soon be reached and in no distant time.

While noting that Kogi State is placed at a vantage position to drive the socio economic development of the country, explained that all that is required is the right leadership and political will, expressed satisfaction that Gov. Bello has taking up the challenge to correct the neglect.

Hon. Ejigbo restated the determination of Gov. Bello to drive the economic potentials of the State to an enviable heights, commended the quality leadership style that has unlock the potentials of the State.

He urged the people to continue to rally support for the present administration, disclosing that Gov. Bello has been just, fair and equitable in the distribution of infrastructure and amenities across the state.

The Commissioner called on the people of Adavi eba to not only own the projects and infrastructure, solicited more prayers for the administration of Gov. Yahaya Bello.
