Electrification: Engr. Bashiru Gegu Thanks Gov. Bello For Declaring State of Emergency in Kogi LGA.


 

The Kogi State Commissioner for Solid Minerals Development, Engr. Bashiru Gegu has sent a message of appreciation to Gov. Yahaya Bello for declaring a State of emergency in Kogi LGA in the area of electricity.

 

Recall that in 2016 Gov. Yahaya Bello gave major towns like Kotonkarfe, Gegu Beki, Kpareke, Girinya, Osuku, Nyaba and Aseni in Kogi LGA Electricity.

But last Thursday, Gov. Bello directed all the nooks and crannies of Onzo, Robomi North, Kussa, Tazenyi, Okofi, Ette, Adangere, Omoko Communities to be upgraded with transformers and electrified.

The Commissioner in a message on behalf of the people of Kogi LGA expressed appreciation to Gov. Yahaya Bello said aside praying for the Gocernor to lead the country in 2023, assured him of there unalloyed support now and always.

Engr. Gegu described Gov. Bello as God sent to the people of Kogi State, and Kogi LGA in particular, said the people have never had it so good since the creation of the State.
