
The Ejeh Ofu and Chairman Ofu Traditional Council of Ofu Local Government Area of Kogi State, Alhaji (Chief) Akwuh has prayed for the growth of Igalaland, Kogi State and the Country as a whole.

The Ejeh expressed the optimism growth and progress of Igala Land when he received in audience at his Palace at Ugwolawo recently Hon. Dr. Aminu Atabor who was in his Palace
as part of his New Year visitation to revered Royal fathers in Igala Land.

The Royal father Particularly mentioned that a new dawn has set in for Igalaland with the emergence of His Royal Majesty (HRM) Alaji Mathew Opaluwa, said he believes that his reign will user in peace, progress and prosperity in the land.
During the vist, the Ejeh thanked God for keeping Igala Land safe and protected during the year 2021 that has just gone by despite the COVID-19 pandemic that ravaged the country and the world at large.
The Traditional Ruler also prayed for the successes and progress of all Igala sons and daughters wherever they may be.
Speaking on the significance of his visit,
Hon. Dr. Aminu Atabo described Traditional Rulers as the real custodians of tradition and closer to the people, hence his visit is to thank them for their Prayers in the year past.
Hon. Atabor offered prayers for long life and peaceful reign for the Ejeh Ofu, urged the Royal father to continue to use his wealth of experience to galvanize the people for growth and development.
Hon. Dr. Atabor, a politician and businessman, has vast interest in the hospitality industry, has remained a respecter of the Igala culture and tradition.
He was a one time Acting Chairman of Omala LGA, also held sway as Chairman of the Pension Board, opportunities he used in writing his name in gold and left lasting legacies.
Alhaji Ademu Mohammed Idakwoji was also in attendance during the visit of Hon. Aminu Atabor to the Palace of the Ejeh, equally prayed for the wellbeing of the new Attah Igala and for the progress of Igalaland.
