The Ejeh Ankpa and Chairman, Ankpa Traditional Council, Alhaji Abubakar Ahmed Yakubu 11, has called for greater commitment on the part of the citizens of Kogi State towards ensuring growth and prosperity of the State.
Alhaji Abubakar Ahmed Yakubu 11, gave the charge when he graciously received in audience Hon. Dr. Aminu Atabor in his Palace today, called for unity amongst the citizens.
The visit by Hon. Dr. Atabo is to pay homage to the Royal father and as part of Felicitations with the Royal father in the New Year.
Dr Aminu Atabor was at one time helmsman of Omala LGA, is a man passionate about community and human development, is a successful politician cum businessman, with biase in the hospitality industry.
The EJEH Ankpa assurred of a prosperous and glorious Year 2022 for Igalaland, Kogi State and Nigeria as a whole, tasked the people of the State greater Unity of purpose.
The new King Particularly prayed for the success of the new Attah of Igalaland, HRM Alaji Mathew Opalawu, the government of Kogi State and Nigeria as a whole, said the country stands to benefit the more if citizens work with a sense of Patriotism, called on the Igala nation to strive for Unity in the new year.
The Royal father described Dr. Aminu Atabor as a detribalised Nigerian, a passionate lover of Development, described him as a worthy son of Igala kingdom when it comes to commitment to good causes.
Earlier, Hon (Dr) Aminu A. Atabo eloguised the late Ejeh Ankpa, Alhaji Yakubu Ahmadu for putting Ankpa on the global map, prayed for the wisdom and initiative for the new Royal father to lead Ankpa Kingdom to the promised land.
He said his respect for the Igala traditional institutions remains unrivaled, said he will continue to do all that is humanly possible for the growth and development of Igala nation.
