An association of Friends, Brothers and Contemporaries who dominated the Socio-Cultural Scene of Kabba Town in the 80s has come together under the name “THE EIGHTIES CONNECT” will be having their REUNION Event in Kabba between 27th and 28th of December, 2021.
According to a statement made available to our Reporter in Lokoja by the Publicity Secretary of the association, Hon. Austine Alaba TANTOLUWA, the proposed REUNION Event is going to be one of the biggest and lively social activities in Kabba during the festive Season.
The statement further revealed the plan to conduct an election that will usher in the new EXCO that will pilot the affairs of the group for the next two years.
It is very important to mention the fact that the EIGHTIES CONNECT is the Bridge between the 70s and the 90s in kabba town. The REUNION will be a gathering of Old Friends, Brothers and Contemporaries of over Thirty years ago.
It was a Nature and Circumstances that brought us together in the 80s and we want to celebrate the Grace and ability to survive our youthful exuberance.
As part of the lineup activities to be our REUNION, we shall be participating in this year OBANGOGO Mountain resort exercise, visiting the woman behind EXPRESS AMALA JOINT and attending a Thanksgiving Service to appreciate God for His Mercies and Protection over us.
