The All Progressives Congress, APC Chairmanship Candidate in the forth coming council poll for Omala Local Government Area, Hon. (Alh) Ibrahim Yakubu Aboh has rejoiced with Muslims from the area and across the globe as they mark the birth of Holy Prophet Muhammed (PBUH).
Alhaji Aboh, according to a statement made available to the press said, “let us use this period to reflect on the life and legacy of the prophet, which are hinged on perseverance, tolerance, peace and love”.
“I implore us to leverage on this auspicious occasion to pray for peace in our land, for love to reign supreme amongst the Muslims and non Muslim brethren, so that together we drive home meaningful development for our people”.
The immediate past SSA to the Governor on Security Matters stressed that, the nation has been through a trying moment of late, therefore, it is a good time to call on GOD to intervene and restore permanent peace.
He congratulated the Muslims on the occasion of Eid’Ul Maulud celebration as he calls for a modest and reasonable celebration, according to the teachings of the Noble Prophet, (SAW).
