Otunba Adeniyi Olayemi aka So’Miedumare, Peoples Democratic Party Kogi West Senatorial District Aspirant has congratulated Muslims and Nigerians of all faith on the occasion of this year’s Eid-el-Maulud which marks the birth of the Islamic Prophet Muhammad.
This was contained in a statement he signed on Monday, urged Moslems and People of Kogi Western Senatorial District to make love the fulcrum of this year’s celebration.
The statement quoted Otunba Adeniyi Olayemi as saying, “I am delighted to send greetings of peace, unity and goodwill to the Muslim Ummah, fellow citizens and Muslims in Kogi West in particular as they observe and celebrate Eid-ul-Maulud.”
The leading Senatorial District Aspirant went on to urge Muslims to strive for forgiveness and closeness to the noble life and teachings of the Islamic Prophet.
“On this auspicious occasion, I wish you all the blessings of today,” Otunba Adeniyi said.
The Senatorial District Aspirant who is the toss of the people of the district assured that better days would be felt if by the Grace of God and the sustained popular support he is enjoying he is elected to the Senate, promised to improve on the welfare and well-being of the people.
