….preaches “constituency development”
Captain Timi Iyela, a House of Representatives hopeful, has felicitated with Okene/Ogori-Magongo Federal Constituency on the occasion of this year’s Eid El Maulud festival.
In his remarks, the flight captain said; “this year’s Eid El Maulud calls for a sober reflection as to the current dilapidated state of our dear constituency, Okene/Ogori-Magongo. It is my hope that in the nearest future we correct the ills of the present times and attract good governance to our dear fellow constituents.
“Constituency development just like community development as a concept, is key, hence we must bear in mind the message the life of Prophet Muhammed (SAW) preached.”
“On this birthday of his, being the day of Eid El Maulud, I implore us to bear in mind how he was a great mobiliser of people and resources. On this day I implore us all to continue to see the need to find it needful to do our own bit as individuals and as a constituency towards developing our dear constituency, Okene/Ogori-magongo.
“Happy Eid El Maulud, fellow constituents,” Captain Timi Iyela further added.
