The former chairman of Okehi L.G.A and the standard flag bearer for Okehi/Adavi Federal House of Representative under the platform of People Democratic Party (PDP), Hon. Abdulmaleek Danga (PUFFY)has felicitated with Muslim faithfuls and indeed all Kogites on the joyous celebration of Eid-El-Kabir, the holy Islamic festival to commemorate the obedience and willingness of Ibrahim to follow Almighty Allah’s (SWT) command to sacrifice his son.
According to him *Eid-el-Kabir* teaches and reminds us of the significance of sacrifice, love and forebearance with God and in our relationship with one another.
“The act of sacrifice, which is one of the major take-aways of the Eid-el-Kabir, should be part of our daily existence. We must make sacrifice for ourselves, families, our friends, our neighbors and of course, our dear state” Hon. Danga noted in his Eid-el-Kabir message.
While Congratulating the Muslim faithful, Hon. Danga appeal to Kogi State citizens especially Kogi central to support, cooperate and encourage the security operatives in their patriotic duty of ensuring security and safety across the State.
He therefore, wished all Kogites a peaceful and pleasant celebration.
