… urge faithful to reflect on prayers for Kogi State.

 

Engr Edward Olatunji Meseko has congratulated Muslim faithful on the celebration of this year’s Eid El Kabir festival, says celebration should be used to reflect on prayers for Kogi State.

In his message, the former APC House of Representatives Aspirant for Yagba federal Constituency congratulated Nigerians, People of Kogi State on the Eid El Kabir, sue for sacrifice in this season.

”The significance of the season should be beyond the festivities but towards a sincere commitment to righteous conducts in private and public lives,” the politician cum businessman explained.

“As we celebrate this auspicious occasion, let us renew our faith and implore the almighty God to restore to us those values that places high premium on human life, love of neighbour and sharing even as we ventilate our faith in the unity of our dear country.

This period requires more patience, fortitude, tolerance, endurance, patriotism and a greater willingness to make personal sacrifices for the good of all.”

Engr. Meseko urged Nigerians to continue to uphold the lessons of love, loyalty and sacrifice which are the hallmarks of the festival.

“We can collectively confront our challenges as people and build a truly peaceful and prosperous Nigeria by acknowledging the supremacy of God, demonstrating genuine love and respect for one another and commitment to peaceful living”, Engr. Meseko said in a Statement he issued to Newsmen.

He congratulated Muslim faithful for witnessing yet another celebration in love and with good health, prayed for God’s grace to enable the faithful to celebrate many more festival in the land of the living.
