The Kogi State Commissioner For Solid Minerals and Natural Resources, Engr. Bashiru Gegu has felicitated with Muslim faithful, particularly Muslim in Kogi LGA on the auspicious occasion of the Eid El Kabir celebration.
Engr. Bashiru in a statement issued to Newsmen, advised Nigerians to eschew all forms of violence, live in peaceful co-existence and be their brother’s keeper.
The Commissioner also canvassed for justice, righteousness and peaceful coexistence among Nigerians as they celebrate the season.
”The significance of the season should be beyond the festivities but towards a sincere commitment to righteous conduct in private and public lives,” the Commissioner said.
While congratulating the Muslim faithful for witnessing yet another celebration of Eid El Kabir, Engr Bashiru restated his resolve to to work with the present administration to bring to the people the much desired dividends of democracy in Kogi LGA.
Engr. Bashiru particularly singled out Gov. Yahaya Bello, members of the State Executive Council, Alhaji Usman Ahmed Ododo, APC Governorship Candidate in the forthcoming November governorship election, wished them a fruitful celebration and many more in the coming years.
