Eid El Kabir: Bassa House of Assembly Lawmaker Felicitates With Muslims, Preaches Sacrifice 


 

Muslims in Bassa Local Government Area have been called upon to live a life of sacrifice, love as demonstrated by prophet muhammad.

 

Deputy minority Leader Kogi State House of Assembly Mr Sunday Daku made the call while congratulating Muslim in Bassa Constituency while deliberating Eid – El -Kabir today at Oguma headquarters of Bassa Local Government Area.

Mr Daku said total submission to the will of Allah is a command to achieve emulate the virtue of Ibrahim.

He maintained that the development of society depends on the virtue’s of prayers, faith selfless living for humanity.

The law maker said Eid el Kabir is a historical events with spiritual significant creating peace and togetherness of the the people noting era of sentiment is over in the area.

The member Representing Bassa constituency reiterate determination to build bridges of harmony, peace among the people of the area and called on the people to avoid sessional politics.

Mr Daku told the people of Bassa Constituency to respect concept of respecting social sociatal value that bind people together.

The Law maker reiterate that he will loby government at all levels in bringing reform movement in Bassa Local Government Area stressing that the people of the area join hands as responsible citizens for development of the Constituency.

The House of Assembly member Mr Sunday Daku called on the people of the Constituency to remain supportive of the present Administration pointing out that leaders in authority is ordained by God.

He called on youths of the area to shun vices inimical to progress of the local government adding that charity and behavioral change is needed for having a better society.
