The candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party(PDP) in the November 11, 2023 Governorship election in Kogi state, Senator Dino Melaye, has congratulated Muslim faithful on the successful completion of the Ramadan fast and called for more prayers for the people of the confluence state and the country at large.
The PDP Governorship candidate said although the Ramadan fast is over, citizens must continue to be guided by the teachings of Prophet Mohammed (SAW) which is anchored on peace, love, humility, respect and charity towards one another.
Senator Dino also enjoins the Muslim faithful to reflect on the spiritual benefits of the holy month of Ramadan which includes forgiveness, understanding and harmony among citizens.
He urges Muslims to remain peaceful and law abiding during and after this Sallah celebration.
