Sues for sacrifices

The Kogi State Commissioner for Finance, Budget and Economic Planning, Mukadam Asiwaju Asiru Idris has felicitated with Muslim Faithfuls on the occasion of this year’s Eid-el-fitri Celebration.

In his message, the Turaki Kotonkarfe, urged Muslims to promote a life of sacrifice, charity and love for one another.

The Commissioner said in a statement, “ I felicitate with the Muslim faithful on the occasion of Eid-el-Fitr after completion of the Ramadan fast, a major pillar of Islam.

“The Holy month of Ramadan is an opportunity for our Muslim brothers and sisters to deepen their relationship with Allah, promote life of sacrifice, charity and love for one another.”

Noting that the present administration of Gov. Yahaya Bello is committed to promoting peaceful co-existence in the state, the Commissioner added, “I urge all Muslims to sustain these values even after the holy month to build a prosperous and peaceful Kogi State where everyone can actualise their dreams.”

Mukadam Asiwaju Asiru Idris particularly congratulated Gov Yahaya Bello, Muslims in the State on the celebration, prayed God to continue to make the state peace to, and for the state to witness tremendous blessings, peace and many more Eid El fitri Celebrations.
