Eid-el-Fitri: Kogi Solid Minerals Commissioner Felicitates Muslim Faithful, Greets Gov. Ododo, FGYB.
The Kogi State Commissioner For Solid Minerals and Natural Resources, Engr Bashiru Gegu, has sent his warmest greetings to the Muslim Ummah on the joyous occasion of Eid-el-Fitri.
According to a statement issued to Newsmen, Engr. Bashiru
says: “I extend my heartfelt congratulations to our Muslim brothers and sisters for successfully completing the 2026 Ramadan fast in good health and spirits.
May our prayers be answered, and may this celebration bring us closer to Almighty God.
“To the entire Muslim Ummar in Kogi State, especially the good people of Kogi LGA, I wish you a blissful Eid-el-Fitri celebration! May our homes be filled with love, peace, and happiness.
“To Gov. Usman Ahmed Ododo and former Gov Yahaya Bello, I offer my warmest congratulations and best wishes. May the State leadership under our amiable Governor and former Gov Yahaya Bello continue to bring prosperity and peace to Kogi State.
“I’m indeed optimistic and assured that with the prayers of the faithful, we shall overcome the challenges facing our State. I urge you to sustain your support for President Ahmed Bola Tinubu and Gov. Usman Ahmed Ododo’s administration, which has been deliberate and intentional in addressing the needs of citizens.
