Eid-El-Fitr: Mukadam Asiwaju Asiru Idris,FCA Congratulate Muslims, Preaches Love, Sacrifice


 

As Muslim faithfuls all over the world complete the 1444/2023 Ramadan fast to celebrate the Eid-el-fitri, Former Commissioner of Finance,Budget and Economic Planning and erstwhile Gubernatorial aspirant under the progressive party,APC, Mukadam Asiwaju Asiru Idris,FCA has enjoined Kogites and Nigerians at large to imbibe the sacred lessons of Ramadan which includes Love, Sacrifice, Unity, Peace, compassion and heart for humanity, saying if upheld, our Nation will be a better place.

 

In his message of felicitation released through his media Assistant, Ayopemi OPOMULERO, on Thursday in Lokoja, thanked Almighty Allah(SWT) for the grace to witness this year’s Eid-el-fitri celebration after the Holy Month of Ramadan.

Asiwaju notes that Ramadan period is a sacred spiritual tenets, which is one of the five pillars of Islam, he thanked Almighty Allah for giving Muslim Ummah the requisite strength and resilience to observe and uphold the values of abstinence, self-discipline, self-reflection, self-purification during these period, in gratitude and total submission to His will.

He urged all Muslim Ummah to ensure that the lessons they had learnt during Ramadan season and their heart of service to God reamin steadfast beyond the 29 days of the spiritual exercise, saying the Ramadan does not signify an end to good deeds and values, rather it should be carried on endlessly.

He used the opportunity to again emphasis on the need for Peace Coexistence and unity of purpose, which he said is the only Panacea to develop any society, state and Nation. He calls on Muslim Ummah to continually pray for leaders in the various strata of Government and society, especially as the Nation inch closer to the transition of Government at the Federal and in most state of the Federation.

In his words “Beyond the celebration and merriment that comes with sallah, we must at all times demonstrate the teachings of Almighty Allah learnt during Ramadan in our daily activities and interaction with people, only then can we appropriately close the obvious gaps in our Nationhood and contribute huge quota in building a Better and Greater Nigeria where Unity and Progress thrive, beyond ethnic, religious and class considerations”.
