Eid-el-Fitr: Ex. Sec. Office of Disability Felicitates With Muslim Faithful, PWD, Gov. Yahaya Bello

The Executive Secretary, Kogi State Office of the Disability, Barr. Zacchaeus Dare Michael, has congratulated Muslims in the state, particularly, Gov. Yahaya Bello, People with Disabilities, entire Muslims in the State as they celebrate Eid-El Fitr after the successful completion of the Ramadan fast.

 

In his Eid-El Fitr message, Barr. Dare charged Muslim faithful to sustain the lessons of sacrifice, selflessness, tolerance, discipline and love learnt during the period of Ramadan, noting that the virtues are necessary in achieving peace, unity and sustainable socio-economic development in the country.

Barr. Dare said, “I felicitate with our Muslim faithful particularly PWD, Gov. Bello on the occasion of Eid-el-Fitr after completing the Ramadan fast, a major pillar of Islam.

“The Holy month of Ramadan provided a fine opportunity for our Muslim brothers and sisters to reconnect with Allah, showing love, care and compassion to one another, especially at this time when majority of citizens are experiencing hardship arising from the nation’s harsh economic realities.

“However, I urge you not to forget the lessons learnt during this period. We must continue to imbibe the virtues of love, tolerance, sacrifice and charity, as taught by the Holy Prophet Mohammed (S.A.W), as it is only then can we be certain of achieving peace and unity, and place the country on the path of sustainable development.”

The Executive Secretary assured of his avowed commitment to work for the Disability community and ensure that the vision of Gov. Bello is realiseable using the Office of the Disability, promised to justify the mandate given to him by Gov. Bello.

Barr. Dare congratulated Gov. Yahaya Bello of Kogi State and all Muslims particularly PWD in Kogi State on the auspicious occasion of the celebration of Eid El Fitr.
