EID-EL-FITR: ALH MOUKTAR ATIMAH GREETS MUSLIMS
The Executive Secretary, Kogi State Emergency Management Agency (KOSEMA), Alh Mouktar Atimah, has congratulated all the Muslim Ummah in Kogi State, Nigeria and the world on the successful celebration of Eid-ed-Fitr. He called on citizens to put the interest of the State above personal interests and use religion as a motivation for the love of our common humanity.
In his Sallah message to mark the end of the Ramadan period, he stressed the importance of putting the virtues of Islam into practice beyond the fasting season, and urged all Kogites to rally support for our Amiable Governor to succeed by consolidating on the “New Direction Project” initiated by his immediate predecessor in leading Kogi State on the path of economic prosperity.
While congratulating Muslims on successful completion of this “significant month of Ramadan,” the KOSEMA Boss assured that the Administration of Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo is committed in providing good governance, safeguarding the lives and property of all Kogi residents.
He also, appealed to all Kogites to support the less previlleged in the society and bring smiles to their faces through our brotherhood, compassion and love.
Finally, “may Allah (SWA) turn our efforts, expectations and prayers to reality”. Atimah added.
