The Kogi State Commissioner For Solid Minerals and Natural Resources, Engr. Bashiru Gegu has congratulated Muslims across the State on the successful completion of the Ramadan fast.
He called on Muslims as well as all Nigerians to utilise this period to pray fervently for peace and unity in the country.
In a statement Issued to newsmen, Engr. Bashiru urged citizens to use the season to promote national integration and Brotherliness, urged that the lessons of Ramadan be imbibed even after the Ramadan.
“Eid-el-fitr is a time of love and goodwill. It gives us a message to love all and hate none,” he said.
The Commissioner particularly congratulated Gov. Yahaya Bello, the APC Flagbearer for the celebration of this year Eid Al fitr, urged for prayers for the success of the present administration and victory of the APC candidate in the November Governorship election.
