Edo LP Falicitates With Nigerians On Independence Anniversary

The Edo State chapter of Labour Party (LP) has said that the vision of the Party was to build a nation where every citizen has equal rights and opportunities where the government is accountable to the people.

This was contained in a goodwill message signed by its State Chairman, Comrade Kelly Ogbaloi to Edo State people in particular and Nigerians at large as the Nation marks its 63rd Independent Anniversary which was made available to the newsmenin Benin City the state capital.

According to him, “On behalf of Edo State Chapter of the Labour Party, we extend our warmest wishes and heartfelt congratulations to the Nigerians particular Edo State people on the occasion of the 63rd Independent Anniversary celebration.

“Today marks a significant milestone in our Nation’s history, reflecting our resilience, unity, and determination as a people. As we commemorate this day, let us reflect on our achievements, learn from our past, and work together towards a brighter future for all Nigerians.

“Over the years, Nigeria and Nigerians have faced numerous challenges as a result of inept leadership but it is in times of adversity that we have demonstrated our strength as a nation. We commend every Nigerian for their unwavering commitment to progress, peace, and the pursuit of a better society at the face of the perennial leadership trauma.”

Going further, Comrade Ogbaloi added: “As a political party, we understand the importance of unity and inclusiveness in nation-building. Our vision is to build a nation where every citizen has equal opportunities, a vibrant economy, and a government that is accountable and transparent.

“This Independence Day, let us reaffirm our commitment to working together as one country, irrespective of our diverse backgrounds, to build a Nigeria we can all be proud of. As we celebrate our past achievements, let us also envision a future where the dreams of our young people can thrive and where every Nigerian can realize their full potential,”
