Edo Guber : APC Govt Will Recover “Sobe Farm” Says Oshiomhole

Former governor of Edo State, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole,on Thursday has assured the people of Owan West local government area that APC administration will retrieve and handed over to the original owners the land acquired from them by the Godwin Obaseki administration within few weeks of being sworn in because it is a gift from God to the people of Sobe.
Oshiomhole made the remarks while speaking at the ward to ward Governorship Campaign in Sobe, headquarters of Owan West local government Council area of Edo State.
He said , Godwin Obaseki took loan of about ten million naira from the Central Bank of Nigeria,CBN in the name of sobe farm and as we speak the people of Sobe did not see the farm.
” Let me use this medium to inform those Greek gifts to get ready to collect their money back from Godwin Obaseki.”
“On assumption of office, Okpebholo will within weeks return the land back to the people of Sobe.we will use this medium to tell those who got the Greek Gifts to get their money from Obaseki.” He said.
At Otuo, the governorship candidate of the party, Monday Okpebholo told the people that the general Hospital build by the Adams Oshiomhole and abandoned by governor Godwin Obaseki administration will be refurbished and staffed with qualified personnel that will man it.
Okpebholo urged the people to come out on September 21 and cast their vote for the All Progressive Congress, APC.
Okpebholo said, “we need a new Edo, September 21 is the day you will have freedom. You will get all you need from that day, go out and vote APC if you vote for me on September 21 you will get all the attention you need as I come on board.”
The governorship candidate told the people that his five points agenda would be followed to the letter.
” I assured you that my five points agenda will be followed to the letter
The five points agenda will be Road construction ,Health, Insecurity, Education and Agriculture”. He stated.
Okpebholo pledged to ensure the safety of farmers in their farm by providing enough security to protect them, recruit teachers to teach in schools.
He stated that, ” election is by ballot not by gun, anybody who uses gun to threaten you should be reported to us or the Police. They will not come to scatter your votes there will be enough security that day, you will all be protected. He assured them.”
Also speaking a chieftain of the party, high chief Lucky Ohimai appealed to all to come out and vote APC on September 21. He assured them of the dividends of democracy. ” You all know me, on my own I have been trying to make sure I provide the necessary amenities, such as light, bore hole, and others. Our candidate, Monday Okpebholo has assured me that he will not disappoint you people once he comes to office. ” He pleaded.
At Afuze, Owan East Local government area, the Minister for Nigeria Delta Development Commission , NDDC, Abubakar Momoh informed the people that they have come to present the candidate of the APC, Monday Okpebholo.
Momoh promised to tarr the road from Afuze to Erha, “I assure you the road will be tared before the end of the year, it is already in the NDDC budget for the year. He stated.
