Ahead of Next year’s Governorship election a Frontline aspirant of All Progressive Congress APC. Engineer Gideon Ikhine has gotten the blessings of his Kingsmen when he was received in his hometown at Ukpenu Neka in Esan West Local Government Area of the State.
Speaking at the event, Ikhine expressed happiness over the reception accorded him by his people, a feeling he described as satisfactory and fulfilling.
He said ” I want to sincerely thank you all my fathers, Mothers, brothers and sisters for the way you have all continue to show me uncommon love and support which have over the years push me to achieve all that I have achieved.”
He further stressed that the reason he was in his hometown was to inform his people of his ambition to Contest the next year Governorship election under the platform of the All Progressive Congress APC, as well as get the blessings and support of his people, noting that only a child who has the backing of his people can do exploits.
As he express optimism to clinching the party’s ticket as well as emerging Victorious at the Governorship election which is slated for September next year.
On his part, the representative of the Odionwere of Ukpenu Neka Mr. Itua Ekpuda Commended Engineer Gideon Ikhine for always putting his people first a trait he says the Aspirant have continually display by attracting several development to his community and the Local Government Area at large.
Ekpuda also appeals to the All Progressive Congress APC not to blow their chance of winning the next year Governorship election by feeding unpopular candidate while stressing that Engineer Gideon Ikhine is not just only a true son of
Ukpenu Neka, but the pride of the entire Edo Central Senatorial district who is capable of winning election anyday anytime.
