EDO 2024: Engr. Ikhine assures Of Ojirami Dam’s Reactivation For Power Generation, Others

A leading aspirant in the Edo 2024 Gubernatorial election, on the platform of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Engr. Gideon Ikhine, aka Game Changer has promised to reactivate the Ojerami Dam to provide water for irrigation for increased agricultural yield and generate electricity to power small scale industries, and businesses.
He said that the Ojirami cluster of business will pave the way for the establishment of a large mechanised farm in Akoko-Edo, taking full advantage of the arable land suitable for agriculture, stressing that when established the farm will be among the biggest in Africa.
He appealed to the people of Akoko-Edo to ensure they take time to screen all the aspirants jostling for the top job before taking a decision that will affect their lives in the next four years.
He further said that not all aspirants are prepared for this race as they have no idea of the problems confronting Edo State, adding that he is the only person that have carried out a detailed research on the challenges confronting the State. He therefore called on the people who are currently yearning for good governance not to make a mistake at this critical period in development of the state.
Ikhine made these known at Igarra, the administrative headquarters of Akoko – Edo local government area, while addressing members of the party to solicit for votes for the forthcoming coming APC Primary next month.
“We want to rebuild the foundation of our children. We will empower the youths so that they have something to do. If you do not take yourself serious no one will also take you serious. Any money you can not create will destroyed you.
He said to make the economy of the state to be bigger in Africa is possible with Akoko – Edo because they have the necessary resources to guarantee that.
Ikhine assured them that his government will give prominence to the traditional stool, stressing however that the traditional rulers must be accorded their deserved respect, empower them to ensure peace and security in their respective domains.
“With all sense of sensibility I am the only one that can do the job. The task ahead requires a focused person and serious minded Personality to give you victory. It is either we want a functional government or disfunctional government. my government will turn everyone that has disability to ability.
