By joshua Ebonyi 2027: APC Chieftain Rallies Support For Gov. Nwifuru’s Reelection

The National Treasurer of the All Progressive Congress (APC) Chief Matthew Uguru has called on the people of Izzi Nnodo clan and other clans in the State to massively support the reelection agenda of Governor Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru for continuity and consolidation of his administration peoples charter of needs mantra in the State.
The party chieftain also solicited total support for all the APC candidates in the State to ensure their landslide victory at the polls.
Uguru stated this while addressing newsmen shortly after the people of Izzi Nnodo clan unanimously adopted Ebonyi State Governor Chief Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru as their sole gubernatorial candidate ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The APC National Treasurer said the endorsement was a demonstration of appreciation for Governor Nwifuru’s performance over the last three years.
He noted that the governor’s commitment to governance and service delivery had earned him the confidence of the Izzi people.
According to him “It is often said that one good turn deserves another. Having served the people well in the past three years as the Governor of Ebonyi State, the clan has deemed it necessary to endorse him for a second term. That is the essence of today’s gathering,” he stated.
Chief Uguru assured that he would do all possible to ensure that the interest of the party and its candidates in the State are well protected at the National level.
He further dismissed the claims that had earlier circulated in the social media suggesting that he bought APC gubernatorial expression of interest and nomination forms to challenge Governor Francis Nwifuru at the 2027 general elections.
The party bigwig reaffirmed his unweaving support to the reelection bid of the Governor while commending his massive infrastructural and human capital development across the State.
