EBIRA YOUTH VOICE STAND ON OBAJANA CEMENT COMPANY TUSSLE

The entire youth bodies across the state, especially Ebira Youths are deeply overwhelmed about the courageous step taken by our leader, HE. Alh. Yahaya Adoza Bello, the Executive Governor of Kogi State in reference to Obajana cement factory.

Presently, kogi state government under the leadership of His Excellency, Alh. Yahaya Adoza Bello has taken a bold step to take kogi state out of the old tradition of doing things in Obajana cement company that is situated in kogi state.

The business capitalist and their associates on the other hand want to maintain the old tradition for selfish interest as long as they smile with slush fund to their bank account daily.

The business capitalist are said to be highly influencial with connections, they have money and also control some of the country vital economy. Their eyes are always on there various businesses, but failed to put the necessary measure in place that will safeguard the health of the residents residing in their area of investment. They guide their businesses jealously but in most cases they choose not to do the needful, because they have what it takes to buy whatever interest that’s against their business.

If anyone must pick a fight with them, in order to subject them to do the needful, you have to be very strong, brave, smart, bold, intelligent, civilize radical and tactical, and above all, you also need the support of the masses including the critical stakeholders.

However, thank God, the youths are so happy that the above qualities are not far fetch from our very own son, the executive governor of Kogi state who has taken the challenges upon his administration for the betterment of our dear state.

Without being told, HE. Yahaya Bello is facing a lot of pressure from different angles for been just and courageous under his leadership to correct some errors which was made by the past administrations. This kind of pressure can easily make a chicken hearted fellow to backslide but we thank God that the one we have at the helm of state affairs at a time like this is not a coward, he is very courageous without any atom of fear, he has the skills and energy that can withstand pressure.

We the Ebira Youth Voice Association in collaboration with other youths bodies are concerned and determined to retrieve all that belongs to the state in due time.

All we need to do right now as patriotic citizens of kogi state is to continue to pray for him to succeed on this and our moral and physical support should be given to him also as we awaits the dimension of the crisis if need be to mobilize our youths for physical involvement in solidarity to our own dear state according to our able comrade in person of M.I Hadi, Ebira Youth Voice National President.

Honestly, I can’t wait to imagine my state taking it rightful position on how resources both human and capital are to be shared on Obajana cement company, the biggest in Sahara African.

In addition with the oil derivation money, since kogi had been enlisted as oil producing state and also hoping that Ajaokuta steel company will be revived soon by God’s grace. With these, the future of our dear state will be bright.

One thing is certain, GYB will be quitting the stage in less than 2years from now and he might not be able to achieve all he want to do for the state. If all his efforts and struggle to put kogi state on the right path of its resources is achieved, then we have to build a strong fence that will sustain the legacy after his tenure.

However, since government is a continuous process, at this point, not only to fight this struggle, we must all come together as a team, work together and channel our strength and focus, irrespective of where we chose to stand politically and religiously,

On achieving such, we must all come to the round table to agree to elect that next leader who has the fear of God, a leader that will be honest and a leader that will not throw away his disciple to the dog. We want that leader that will not shelve his authority to corruption. That leader that will not betray Ebira race, That”s the only secret.

I pray that this effort and struggle of GYB on this Obajana issue will not go in vain.

I salute his boldness & courage, may he receive the support of God and our ancestors for truly fighting for the masses.

May we all sing a new song for a more better kogi state soon.

God bless His. Excellency Alh. Yahaya Adoza Bello.
God bless Ebiraland.
God bless Kogi State.
