Easter: Mrs Awoniyi Fates Children At Margaret Ohiani Orphanage Home

In her usual magnanimity, the wife of former Kogi State Deputy Governor, Mrs Tokunbo Awoniy has fetted children of Margaret Ohiani Orphanage home.

 

Mrs. Awoniyi it would be recalled has constantly made it an annual culture to visit Orphanage homes in Kogi State to show them love during festive periods.

 

As a way of celebrating this year’s Easter, Mrs. Awoniyi visited Margaret Ohiani Orphanage homes at Welcome to Lokoja, assured the children that hope is not lost, promising that with focus and determination tomorrow will be better.

The wife of the former Deputy Governor called on Kogites to always extend hands of fellowship to orphans and less privileged children, insisting that their present circumstances would not define their tomorrow.

She urged the children to remain focused in prayers and dedication to their studies, assuring that their future will be better.

Mrs. Awoniyi thanked the care givers at Margaret Ohiani Orphanage home for their commitment to the well-being of the children, prayed God to reward them abundantly.

She called on Government and other well meaning individuals in the society to support the home, pointing out that the peace and security of the society is a product of how they support children of the less privileged and vulnerable in the society.

The wife of the former Deputy Governor had during festive periods fetted the orphans. This she does by renovating their homes and providing them with consumables. She has always added the payment of school and WAEC fees, as well as provision of uniforms, bags and books for the children.

In this year’s Easter celebration, she not only provided clothings and food, the children had cakes and wears to add flavor to the celebration.
