
Kogi State Former Deputy Governor, Elder Simon Achuba has felicitated with Christians across the country on this year’s Easter celebration.
The former Deputy Governor in a statement signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Akor Sylvester urged Christians to use the season of Easter to seek the face of God over the various challenges bedeviling the country.
He said the sufferings and death of Christ on the cross for mankind was an indication that there is nothing God cannot do for His people if they believe in Him.
The former Deputy Governor further enjoined Christians and Nigerians to be united in prayers for a better Nigeria.
He said God loves Nigeria and will continue to bless and hold the country together in one accord.
The former Deputy Governor further advocated religious tolerance among Nigerians, stating that the country would be better for it when all religious bodies work together for the good of the people.
Elder Achuba who noted that COVID-19 pandemic that has claimed alot of lives across the world has now bowed to the prayers of the people, urged Christians and Nigerians to be prayerful always .
On Kogi Christians, the former Deputy Governor urged them to celebrate the season in joy and hope, puting into consideration, the less privileged around them.
He wished them happy Easter celebration and prayed God to guide and protect them always.
