Easter Celebration: Okehi Secretary hails Ododo For Prompt Payment of Salary
The Secretary of Okehi Local Government, Hon. (Prince) Matthew James Omeiza Popularly known as Mr Spreading has commended the state governor of Kogi State, Alh Ahmed Usman Ododo, for the prompt payment of workers’ salaries ahead of Easter Celebration, describing the state as lucky, unlike some other states in the country.
Okehi Local Govt Scribe , Mr Matthew James Omeiza , in a statement, described Governor Ododo few days in office as a huge success to the state despite the distraction in court from the opposition party
That is why I sincerely thank our governor for his unflinching commitment in the payment of worker’s salaries up to date. Our governor has clearly shown that he is a man of distinction who sees workers as assets and not liabilities.”
It will be recalled that Kogi workers went into jubilation on the 28th of March after they received alerts for the payment of March salaries from the state government in order to allow the Christian faithfuls to have a befitting Easter Celebration.
