Dr. Tokunbo Olorundami who is the ADC candidate for Ijumu State Assembly in a press release affirms his commitment to the educational development of Okunland. He waved all insinuations surrounding his gesture, asking those who claim to believe in the youths, to do so by supporting thier future aspirations.
This is the second year he will be doing this and he is unrepentant about supporting educational ventures. He cited similar gestures by his political mentor Elder Leke Abejide who has been paying the WAEC fees of all students in Yagba for the last 5years, and now extended to all Okunland.
The UK trained Academic believes there is no empowerment more powerful to deliver a nation, he has always maintained that education is his passport to the world and this has opened the doors to many nations to him.
In his remark, he directed all interested students in this year’s cohort of jamb to interface with their different Units in Ijumu constituency. All ADC chairmen have been instructed to allow students from all backgrounds, political affiliations, and creed to participate. This is for the development of human capacity in Okunland, he insisted.
