Elderstatesman, Dr Dayo Mesele has expressed shock over the death of Mrs Esther Zainab Kolawole, the wife of the Speaker, Kogi State House of Assembly, Rt Hon. Matthew Kolawole.
A statement by Dr Dayo Mesele on Sunday in Lokoja, and made available to journalists, described the sudden demise of Mrs Kolawole as shocking and devastating to the entire state.
“On behalf of my family and the management and staff of the Kogi CSDA, I express my sincere condolences to the family of Rt Hon. Matthew Kolawole for the great loss of a loving wife.
“The death of any family member is undoubtedly painful to bear, especially that of a spouse and a strong pillar in the family.
“Nothing can fill up the hollow space of a loving wife, nor are words enough to lessen the grief of a mourning husband but may you find comfort and strength in this difficult time”.
He prayed God to rest the soul of the departed and grant the entire family she left behind the fortitude to bear the irreplaceable loss.
