DG GOVT HOUSE NOW A FELLOW OF CHARTERED INSTITUTE OF HUMAN CAPITAL DEVELOPMENT OF NIGERIA

The Director General Government House Administration, Alh. Dr. Umar Oricha Shuaibu has been admitted as Fellow, Chartered Institute of Human Capital Development of Nigeria.

His admission as Fellow of the institute came up today the 10th day of August, 2023 after his successful participation in the 2023 Second Session Mandatory Talent Development Programme titled: REDEFINING THE NIGERIAN ECONOMY: A1 APPLICATION, SKILLS DEVELOPMENT AND YOUTH EMPLOYABILITY.

Speaking after been admitted as Fellow from his office at the Government House, Alh. Dr. Umar Oricha Shuaibu said, “I appreciate God Almighty who has given me the knowledge and ability for me to keep learning. I am one who loves the quotation that says, to be more is to know more. That is why I strive to learn everyday no matter how little as learning has no end.”

He added that, “Nobody should see his or herself as too old to learn. I want to specifically urge the youths to make sure they do not wake up on a daily basis without learning anything new.” In addition he said, “Education is good and surely it remains the bedrock of every society, but it is high time people started learning skills that will make them self reliant and also to help them become employers of labour.”

Alh. Dr. Umar Oricha Shuaibu thanked the Chartered Institute of Human Capital Development of Nigeria for making the 2023 Second Session Mandatory Talent Development Programme available and also for his award of the Certificate of Membership.
