One of the many ways human beings can show their devotion to God here on earth is for them to erect a place of worship to serve Him. The Agassa Central Mosque for years has remained uncompleted despite the efforts put up by the community. Today will remain a red letter day in the hearts of the people of Agassa as the Mosque was finally commissioned as a place to offer prayers to God.

The Director General Government House Administration, Alh. Dr. Umar Oricha Shuaibu joined a host of other Muslim faithful from within and outside Agassa to commission the long awaited Masjid. While at the event, Alh. Dr. Umaru Oricha Shuaibu said, “I heartily return all available praise and thanks to Almighty Allah who has made it possible for me and others to be part of those commissioning this long awaited Masjid. He added that, “It has always been a thing of concern for His Excellency, Gov. Yahaya Bello (CON) to see that this holy place of prayer was completed and commissioned for people to enter into and make their supplications before Allah. I am highly elated that the Governor actually made this possible alongside the concerted efforts of the community. The success story is what has gathered us here today to celebrate this house of worship.” Speaking with much faith in his heart, Alh. Dr. Umar Oricha Shuaibu said, “I believe that this place where the name of Almighty Allah will be called at all times will be a point where prayers will be answered without any delay as what we are doing here today is what pleases Almighty Allah.”

Speaking further, the administrator of great repute said, “It is one thing to build a house of worship for Almighty Allah and it is another thing for the place to be kept clean at all times.” He made everyone present to know that cleanliness will always remain next to Godliness. He therefore urged the committee that handled the project to keep an eagle eye on the Mosque so that it will not for any reason become unkempt and too shabby for worship. He added that, “Should there be any need to repair a particular part of this brand new and glittering Masjid, his attention and that of Hon. Bldr. Zakari Musa and that of Hon. Mutari Bello (Senator) should quickly be sort.
