The Special Adviser to Kogi State Governor Yahaya Bello on Civil Service and Labour Matters, Omoluabi Bode Adeyemi has described the Governor as an outstanding record breaker, unassailable trailblazer and quintessential performer whose name, leadership and record will live beyond the coming generation because of the monumental legacy projects the Governor has embarked upon across the three Senatorial district of Kogi State.
Omoluabi Bode Adeyemi listed some of the unforgettable footprints of the Governor as establishment of Confluence University of Science and Technology, Osara, establishment of Kogi State University, Kabba, establishment of over 350 bed space and international standards Okene Reference Hospital, Okene and other gigantic Ultramodern General Hospital at Gegu-Beki, Ajaokuta, Isanlu and upgrading of Specialist Hospital, Lokoja, upgrading of Idah Zonal Hospital. The Special Adviser listed others as construction of the first interchange flyover at Ganaja Lokoja, construction of 15,000 seating capacity Muhammed Buhari Civic Center, Lokoja, construction of gigantic GYB Model Secondary School at Lokoja, Ajiolo-Dekina, Okebukun-Kabba/Bunu, Okene and others.
Omoluabi Bode Adeyemi who made the statement as a guest speaker at the 2023 edition of the Stewardship News Magazine Annual Public Lecture, the NUJ Press Center, Lokoja says Governor Yahaya Bello by the delivery in roads, agriculture, youth/women empowerment, security, Education and Health Care Development have proven to the world that he is a transformation Democratic leader who succeeded despite nauseating political opposition, antagonism, ethnic conspiracy, economic challenges, several distractions and intense national security issues. Omoluabi says Governor Bello has become a positive inspiration and source of development to uncountable young people across Nigeria. He said the Governor have shown brilliant leadership with creation of new agencies of government for better service delivery, such as Kogi Youth Development Commission, Kogi Health Insurance Agency, Kogi Enterprise Development Agency, Kogi State Bureau of Public Procurement and many others, thereby creating efficiency in government, uptimum service delivery and job security.
He further said that Governor Yahaya Bello has put Kogi on a pedestal of educational, social, political, economic and developmental trajectory that makes it fundamental necessary for Alh Ododo Ahmed Usman to succeed him. Omoluabi argued that it takes meticulous follower, dependable ally, prudent servant and tested contemporary like Alh Ododo to understand, manage and continue the good governance template that Governor Yahaya Bello have laid down in the last seven and half years.
He therefore urged Kogites to further review the journey of the last six year that banished robbery of banks and Public places to history, to review the leadership that destroyed ethnic proclivity so far, to review the government that enthroned the youth and women, to review the government that gave West and Central university Educational institutions, to review the government that brought electricity to many home in Kogi East through Operation Light Up Kogi East, to review a government that brought honor to traditional institution through grading and welfare, he urged the people to elect Alh Ododo Ahmed Usman who is surely going to continue the leadership that works for all Kogites, a leadership that is not inspired by sectionalism but totalism, a leadership that will consolidate the gains of the last eight years.
Omoluabi assured the people of the state that Alh Ododo is a meek, humble, humane and compassionate leader who will lead but not rule, who will govern but not be autocratic and who will work to ensure collective prosperity for all.
