The Member Representing Ajaokuta Federal Constituency Hon Lawal Muhammadu Idirisu who is at its again over the weekend stormed Geregu Community in Geregu ward to appreciate the good people of the area for their support to APC. He was received by the state party PRO Hon Gali Nda Usman and other party Members from the Ward . Master key to the politics of Ajaokuta who was accompanied by the youths, stakeholders to the community started by inspecting the road to the Community as he intimated them that the road project will soon received attention as it has been captured in the budget already..
He made some stop over to visit elders and aged ones in the community to appreciate them and say thank you for their support from where he proceeded to the venue where Mammoth crowd comprises of Women, youths , elders were seated .
The PRO who gave the welcome address as he eulogized the Member for always remembering his constituents for his humanitarian services after which a song of praises was raised by the entire crowd calling the Member different names and praises.
The Member who was overwhelmed by the impressive crowd firstly thanked them all for coming out in such a numbers to welcome him to the Community in his address he said Geregu Community are good supporters of the Party APC and he can’t forget so soon their support for the success of the party in Ajaokuta. During his address he made it clear that the committe handling the Mosque project to come forward to let him know what they have done so far with the fund released and what is left so that they continue to ensure the project is completed. The Member who was moved by the impressive turnout directed immediate arrangements for the distribution of envelope containing certain amount to the people of Geregu Community which cut across the different ethics group in the Area the Bassa Nge , Igala’s Ibaji , Hausa, Ebira etc . He made the crowd to be aware that GYB is Coming 2023 as PYB so everyone of them to keep their PVC safe to make sure we all join hands together to make this project a reality.
After which he proceeded to Geregu Community secondary school to inspect the ongoing building of a block of class rooms facilitated by him. During the inspection the School Principal Mall. Salihu Atadoga thanked the Member for such a project and further requested for a block of classrooms that need some little maintenance the Member quickly directed and approved it with immediate effect and urge the contractor handling the project to make sure the project meet standard to avoid complain that may later come up from the school management he said .
After the visit while on his way out from the community he donated a car Corolla LE to an ardent supporter and a stakeholder Alh. MH Musa also gifts Alh. M.A Yusuf a Motorcycle and Cash received on his behalf by the children .
