Hon. Bilkisu Aliyu, the All Progressive Congress Vice Chairmanship Candidate in the forthcoming council election has appealed to women of Okene Local Government to show appreciation to the ruling party, APC by voting massively for the party in the coming council election slated for December 12, 2020.

She made this known at her place of residence, she commended the Governor for his unprecedented women inclusiveness in Governance. She said she is still yet to come to term that women can be given this much of an opportunity in a male dominated disposition such as politics.

In her words “ I never knew a time will come where women will be considered worthy to be nominated as vice chairman in not just a Local Government but across the 21 Local Governments, the Governor and the ruling party APC has indeed demonstrate women inclusiveness and gender equality. Unbehalf of women of Okene Local Government, I sincerely appreciate this gesture”

I want the women to reciprocate this gesture by coming out in mass to vote for All Progressive Congress come December 12, 2020. I am assuring the women, APC will prioritize the welfare of women of Okene Local Government if given the chance to spearhead the affairs of the Local Government.

She concluded by commending her boss the APC Okene Local Government Chairmanship candidate, Hon.
