Deacon Simeon Onakpa, the Secretary to Kogi State Christian Pilgrims Commission has bagged his Ph.D in Management Ethics from the Africa Theological Education Network, an affiliate of Vision International University, USA.
Dcn. Onakpa bagged the Ph.D after the extensive completion of his academic work at the ATEN.
Dcn. Onakpa holds a Master’s Degree in Public Administration from the National Open University.
Two years ago he was conferred with a Doctorate Degree in Divinity by the same University.
A Professional broadcaster, who has obtained several professional certificates in Journalism, Broadcast and Administration.
His thesis leading to obtaining the Ph.D was centred on Management in the contemporary world.
The Ph.D thesis attracted wide commendation from scholars and those in the academia as it was described as a well researched material towards improving management in the nation’s contemporary world.
Speaking with the Thenigerianpost, Dcn. Onakpa described the Ph.D Certificate as a dream come true.
He dedicated the successful completion of the Ph.D program to God Almighty, appreciated the Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello and His Deputy, Chief Edward Onoja, said the enabling environment created by the present administration and the opportunity to serve helped in the completion of the studies.
Dcn. Onakpa equally dedicated the Ph.D to Secretary to the State Government, Dr. Mrs Folashade Ayoade Arike and Mrs Deborah Ogunmola, Head of Service for the encouragement which led to the successful completion of the studies.
He concluded by dedicating the Ph.D Certificate to his wife, Children and family for the support during the period of studies, assured that the knowledge acquired would be used in the service of God, the State and humanity in general.
