
CVR: Engr. Bashiru Leads Gov’t appointees From Kogi LGA on engagement, meeting witnesses unprecedented turnout.

The Kogi State Commissioner For Solid Minerals and Natural Resources Engr Bashiru Abubakar Gegu, today led all the State Government appointees from Kogi LGA to a meeting on the continuous voters registration exercise.

The meeting was a directive by His Excellency, Alh Ahmed Usman Ododo, witnessed a huge turnout of indigenes of Kogi LGA.
Indigenes of Kogi LGA showered commendation on Gov. Usman Ahmed Ododo as well as the Commissioner for Solid Minerals and Natural Resources, pointing out that, Kogi LGA has never had it this good.
According to one of the Elders of Kogi LGA in the meeting, said “this is the first time in the history of politics in Kogi LGA that we are witnessing large number of State appointments”, prayed for the Governor and his team.
The appointees from Kogi LGA all reiterated and pledged their loyalty, commitment to the Government of Gov. Ododo.
The meeting which recorded a successful outcome, saw the Commissioner for Solid Minerals, urging the people of Kogi LGA to turnout enmass to register as that remains their only power to negotiate for more democracy dividends.
He assured that with the priority placed by the present administration on Kogi LGA, said more should be expected, only if they surpass their 2023, votes, expressed optimism that the votes for the APC in 2027 from Kogi LGA, will double what was recorded in the past.
