CUSTECH OSARA: Gov. Bello Working With Speed of Spirit


 

Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi State has been described as working with the speed of spirit in the development of the Confluence University of Science and Technology (CUSTECH) to meet desired standard.
This was part of the remarks by the Vice Chancellor of the university, Prof. Salawu Sadiku when he received the forum of special adviser today at the Osara campus of the institution today.

 

The VC who commended the governor for his exceptional commitment to the growth and development of the new citadel of higher learning noted that since the university was inaugurated in December 2020, so much has been achieved in less than one year of its existence.

Prof. Sadiku said eleven courses in both science and technology have been accredited by the National University Commission (NUC) while academic activities have commenced with about 240 students who are already on their second semester.

 


” I commend the focus of the executive Governor of Kogi State, His Excellency Alhaji Yahaya Bello for his has assuage the challenges faced by our youth in securing admissions into Nigerian Universities to study desired courses in science and technology.
“While walking the talk, the governor has been fulfilling his promise of working with the speed of spirit since he got approval from the NUC in December 2020”.
The Vice Chancellor said that university, omg other achievements has just recently opened the bid for the construction of the second phase of the infrastructure across the campus which, according to him is being coordinated by the Kogi State ministry of works and housing.
While commending the step taken by the special advisers, the VC expressed hope that the University would become a model among its counterparts in the next few years.
