Coalition of Registered Political Parties, CRPP, have condemned the attack on the African Democratic Party, ADC, Secretariat and Chief Odigie Oyegun’s Resident in Edo State.

The party in a statement signed by
Dr Samson Isibor,Zonal Chairman
said, ” it is outrageous, uncalled for as Edo State is not noted for this dastardly act”.

According to Isibor, all these are happening during this current government tenure, and it is giving us members of the CRPP a course for concern.

Aljazirah Nigeria recalls that the Secretariat of the ADC and the resident of Oyegun were attacked on Tuesday by some thugs in Edo State.

The chairman stated that, The CRPP condemned in totality the shootings at Chief Odigie Oyegun’s house during the meeting of the ADC party members at the former Governor’s house,it is outrageous, uncalled for,as Edo State is not noted for this dastardly act.

“We are not happy that all these are happening during this current government tenure,it is given us a course for concern,we condemned the act in totality in the state,” he stated.

According to Isibor, “the state government is required to protect the citizens of the state not to witch hunt, intimidate members of the opposition , it’s the beauty of democracy to have pluralistic political parties in the country instead of trying to eliminate the opposition members,we are therefore advising the APC government to stop all these brigandage as this will scare away investors from the state “.

He urged the APC government in the state to allow opposition to exist, as multiple parties are the best for democracy.
