CP Kuryas, Niger Command decorates 43 newly promoted officers, tasks them to justify their elevation.

The Commissioner of Police, Niger State Command CP Monday Bala Kuryas, fs has decorated 43 newly promoted senior officers serving in the state with their new ranks.

CP Kuryas was assisted in decorating the promoted offices by Deputy Commissioner of Police, Operations DCP Ali Hayatu Kaigama, Deputy Commissioner of Police, Investigations, DCP Aboki Danjuma and other senior officers of the Command.

The Forty-three (43) Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSPs) were  promoted to the rank of Superintendent of Police (SP) and were decorated one after the other.

-SP Lawali Dankuriya – DPO Lemu Div
-SP Isah Ndaisah Etsu -12PMF, Minna
-SP Finbarr Sarki – O/C Pension and Insurance
-SP Lawal Mainasara – O/C Community Policing
-SP Abubakar Yahaya – SCID
-SP Tanko John – O/C RRU

CP Kuryas on behalf of the Inspector General of Police IGP Alkali Baba Usman, psc(+), NPM, fdc congratulated the newly promoted officers and urged them to redouble their commitment to duty to justify their promotion.

He reminded the newly promoted officers that promotion comes with additional responsibilities, therefore, urged them to put in their best in their respective areas of operation.

Kuryas urdge them to intensifies fight especially against banditry and other criminality activities in the State.

Speaking on behalf of the promoted officer’s, SP Moses Saba (DPO Zungeru Div) appreciated the Inspector General of Police for recommending them to the  Police Service Commission for promotion.

He equally appreciated the Commissioner of Police, Niger State for decorating them with their new ranks.

He also commended other senior officers of the Command for their leadership and mentoring while he promised that they will continue to redouble their effort in line of their duty, as to whom much is given, much is expected.
