Council polls vigorous campaigns in LGA’s prove of Ododo’s deep democratic principle

People often take Local Government elections for granted. They believe it is not democratically principled. Alas, the Chief Servant of Kogi State, His Excellency Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo has made the difference following his strong democratic stand on the forth coming Council election in the state slated for October 19, 2024.
In his avowed democratic stand, His Excellency Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo ensured that the Kogi State Independent Electoral Commission (KOSIEC) operates independently without any interference from his exalted office.
Unlike in the past, His Excellency Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo ensured that as the leader of the Kogi State All Progressives Congress (APC), did not take the council elections for granted. Through his leadership by example the party structures in all the twenty one Local Government Areas of the state for the first time in the history of the state embarked on vigorous campaigns in each of the two hundred and thirty nine wards in the state.
As a matter of fact, His Excellency Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo relocated to Okene (His Local Government Area) three days to the Local Government elections to campaign for the victory of his party in the Local Government elections.
Truth must be told, in the history of the state there has been no outstanding Local Government elections campaigns that politicians have campaigned like the 2024 Local Government elections. The evidences of vigorous campaigns are all over the Local Government Areas and all the citizens of the state can testify of this.
As for the APC in the state, the party mounted unprecedented campaigns with branded vehicles and T-shirts across the twenty one Local Government Areas of the state. This is the first time a ruling party in the history of the state has ever carried out such vigorous campaigns. This is made possible because the Chief Servant of Kogi State, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo as the leader of the party gave the marching order that the right thing ie grassroots campaigns must be carried out in all the Local Government Areas for the Council polls.
Irrespective of whatever anyone may say about council elections across the country, His Excellency Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo has made a big difference in the activities leading to the conduct of the 2024 Kogi State Local Government elections slated for October 19, 2024.
No doubt, His Excellency, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo is truly God sent to liberate Kogi State from the doldrums of deprivation in all aspects of the lives of her people.
