Council Poll: Omala Front Line Says It is Ogodu’s Turn, Threatens To Field A Candidate, Rebel Against Anti Ogodu Interest.

 

NEED TO TAKE DECISIVE ACTION ON OMALA COUNCIL

“OMALA Front Line”, says it will field a candidate from Ogodu
district to contest for the office of Omala Council Chairman in the forthcoming Local Government Election.

The OMALA Front Line, is an umbrella body for group of Association, today held a meeting in Lokoja today at
Safari Beach Hotel.

Members of the group is made up of people irrespective of political party affiliation, have vowed that they will throw their support for any candidate from Ogodu

As part of the resolution of the meeting, the group decided to produce the Local government Chairman, from Ogodu in the coming Council election .

The Spokesperson of the Group, Hon. Aliyu Suleiman, in his statement disclosed that if election is all about numbers and fair play, explained that Ogodu district deserves the next Council Chairman of OMALA Local Government as one of the fourth Zone in the Local government that produces the highest votes and the only zones that has never held any elected position since the inception of democracy till date.

Hon. Aliyu pointed that, if the government or critical stakeholders of the party refuse to correct the abnormalities, said they are ready to repay back through there polling units comes 2027.

APC Leadership under our leader Alh.Yahaya Bello and Alh. Ahmed Ododo would not tolerate any form of merginalization in the name of minority at this jet age because he was also a victim.

All the twenty five groups that attended the meeting all signed in favour of Ogodu District.

The group beckoned on Alhaji Yahaya Bello Adoza and the amiable governor of Kogi State His Excellency, Alhaji Ododo Usman,
to take decisive action on this matter before it becomes late and rebellion in the Party.
