The Chairman of Okene Local Government, Engr. Abdulrazaq Muhammad on Thursday played host to the former Okene branch Manager of United Bank for Africa (UBA), Mr Micheal Alao who came on a courtesy visit to the council leader.
The former banker in his brief address thanked the council chairman for his assistance, support and encouragement while he served as the bank manager for over four years in Okene noting that, he left the bank on a clean sheet.
While eulogizing the leadership style of the council boss, Mr Michael urged him to sustain the relative peace of the area through his usual and exclusive security strategies and meticulous implementation.
In his response, Hon. Abdulrazaq appreciates the efforts of the veteran banker towards societal developments noting that the entire people of Ebiraland are proud of his record of achievements in the banking sector.
The Local Government chairman advised him to see his exit from the bank as a means to serve and contribute more to humanity at a higher pedestal. He wished him more successes in his future endeavours.
