Contempt: Enemona Anyebe presiding over Idah Zonal PDP meeting, unacceptable, Calls For Justice – Hon. Muhammed Sanni Gambo.
The Hon. Muhammad Sanni Gambo has called on the Kogi State People’s Democratic Party to be weary of Contempt by still referring to Enemona Anyebe as Chairman, urged the Judiciary and Security Agencies to call him and the Party to order.
Hon. Muhammad made the disclosure following a Zonal meeting held in Idah at the weekend by the Zonal PDP Executives, where Enemona presided as Chairman.
He said it was wrong for a whole lot of people who should be vigilant and aware, play ignorance all because of selfish interests.
He said having won the PDP State Congress held on 31st August, 2024, wondered why “Enemona Anyebe, barred from contesting, but purportedly claiming to be Chairman would be allowed to organize and preside over Idah Zonal meeting.
He tasked the Judiciary on the need to protect the sanctity of Courts and that of the People’s Democratic Party.
He described the attendance of Enemona at the Idah Zonal meeting as illegality of the highest order, said many examples abound where individuals were punished for contempt.
He reemphasized the need for the Kogi State People’s Democratic Party to obey Court order that barred Enemona Anyebe from contesting the August 31st Congress.
He pointed out that when individuals prove to be above the law, while the Judiciary and the Party watches with no avail, the nation maybe heading towards a banana Republic.
He described his impersonation by Enemona as illegal, null and void, lamented that for someone who was ordered to be arrested by a high court in February 2025, and affirmed by another court in May 2025 calls for concern.
According to Hon. Gambo, the PDP and Judiciary should Protect it integrity and sanctity. He said until people who disobey the supremacy of the Judiciary are made scape goats, people will emulate the likes of the Enemona’s.
” This is why people are disobeying court orders and judgement because they claim to be above the law”.
” Is it because I have no godfather that is why the PDP is also turning a deaf ears to the happenings in Kogi PDP”.
” Before the State Congress, Enemona Anyebe was barred from contesting. From been screened and to present himself for the contest”.
” In February, precisely 17th, 2025, after his brazen disregard, the court of competent jurisdiction ruled that he is illegal, a nullity, added that his actions to present himself was void, ordered his arrest”.
” Again in May 2025, this year, another court came hard on the disobedience by Enemona, said his continued parading himself and possibly still being recognized by anyone as Chairman is criminal”
” Is it because I have no godfather. Is it because I have no money. Is it because of ethnicity. The PDP is a party built on Justice and fairness. The National Chairman and Members of the National Working Committee are men of integrity and character.
“Who is blocking the PDP from doing the needful. Swear me in as the winner, having scored highest votes in the Congress. Enemona was never a contestant, to the rescue of Kogi PDP.
“The world is watching the Kogi PDP. Until the right thing is done, there is no hiding place. PDP with Enemona is in public domain as a party being led by a contemptuous individual. The party is stalk in a place of no motion”.
