The Federal Government has been called upon to construct an over head bridge from Kogi koton karfi town to Jamata to reduce effect of flood in coming resigning season.
The Chairman Kogi State civil service commission Barrister Muhammed Tanko made the call while speaking with our Correspondent in his office on the implications of annual flood in Kogi State.
According to him the recent flood was high noting that Kogi , Bassa,Ibaji,Ofu, Ajaokuta,Idah local government Areas where submerge there by making life difficult for the people.
The Chairman reiterate that the people of Kogi local government Area are predominantly fisher men and rice farmers stressing that the volume of the flood has distroyed all farm impute.
He Commended President Muhammed Buhari,Governor Yahaya Bello the wife of the president for providing pailative to casualties of the floods and Prayed God to reward the leaders.
Bar Muhammed Tanko Also expressed confidence that The APC flag bearer Ahmed Tinubu Asiwaju will emerge victorious noting that the opposition party is never a treath to All Progressive Congress victory in 2023.
The State Chairman of the civil service commission and the state secretary of the presidential campaign committee described APC as a moving train and Thanked the leadership of the party for appointing Governor Yahaya Bello as the Youth coordinator for the Candidate of the party.
