“Your one year in office as the Kogi State Commissioner for Education Science and Technology has not only been remarkable, it is equally important to state that through your Ministry, Gov. Yahaya Bello has turned around the Education Sector of the State for good.”
In a Congratulatory message titled: celebrating the unprecedented achievements under Gov. Bello, through you in the last one year as Education Commissioner, the Personal Assistant, Mr. Rufus Obafemi said the past one year in office of Hon. Wemi Jones as Commissioner for Education, Science and Technology, Kogi State, has been wonderful, appreciated Gov. Yahaya Bello for finding his boss worthy of service to the State.
Mr. Rufus lauded the giant steps recorded on Hon. Wemi Jones, Particularly lauded the establishment of the Confluence University of Science and Technology Osara as a milestone achievement, described the one year in office as eventful.
According to Mr. Rufus, ” With the support from Gov. Yahaya Bello, Kogi State now has an education policy. In all aspects of Education, Kogi State Ministry of Education has witnessed a new lease of growth and development. The Ministry has not only improved on the quality of Teaching and Learning through robust Policies and programs, the welfare of the staffers of the Ministry under you has taken another quantum leap”.
While we roll out drums to appreciate Gov. Yahaya Bello for finding you worthy as well as given you all the needed support to excel, it is my prayers that when history would be written. Through Your Ministry, Gov. Yahaya Bello would have his named etched in Gold and sands of time.
Let me equally commend the support of the Kogi State Chief of Staff, Pharm. Jamiu Asuku for his support and prayed that God will continue to use him to support Gov. Bello to make the necessary impact on the Education Sector.
The successes you recorded in the last one year which without mincing words has been acknowledged as unprecedented would not have been made possible without the able support of the Permanent Secretary, Pastor Emmanuel Idenyi. The permanent Secretary has no doubt proven that he is a round peg in a round hole.
To all the Staffers of the MoE. Your support I dear say in the last one year has been wonderful and seek for more of the support in the coming years.
Once again to a man who thinks and dream of the Growth of the Education Sector of Kogi State, Hon. Wemi Jones, Congratulation and may God in the new years of your services open up new frontiers of development for you.
