CONFLUENCE UNIVERSITY OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY OSARA ANNOUNCES COMMENCEMENT OF 2022/2023 ADMISSION EXERCISE


 

Reminder

The Confluence University of Science and Technology (CUSTECH), Osara, a university wholly owned by Kogi Sate, is currently in session and has commenced the process of admission into all the programmes of the University approved by the National Universities Commission (NUC) for the 2022/2023 academic session. The programmes, which are fully available on the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) platform for admissions, are as follows:

 

1. FACULTY OF SCIENCE*
a. Applied Geophysics
b. Biology
c. Biochemistry
d. Chemistry
e. Geology
f. Mathematics
g. Microbiology
h. Physics
i. Statistics

2. FACULTY OF COMPUTING AND INFORMATICS*
a. Computer Science
b. Cyber-Security
c. Software Engineering
d. Information Technology

3. FACULTY OF ENGINEERING*
a. Chemical Engineering
b. Civil Engineering
c. Computer Engineering
d. Electrical and Electronics Engineering
e. Mechanical Engineering
f. Mining Engineering

All the programmes are available for both UTME and Direct Entry candidate.

What a prospective candidate should do

1. Candidate should normally have selected CUSTECH as university of first choice. However, a candidate who wishes to switch to the University should effect the change on the JAMB portal and select Confluence University of Science and Technology, Osara as university of first choice. The candidate should select the desired programme for which he/she has the requisite UTME subject combination and relevant O’Level results.

2. Candidate should ensure that his/her O’Level results are successfully uploaded on the JAMB portal for admissions. Any candidate whose results are not uploaded will not be available on JAMB’s Central Admission Processing System (CAPS) for admission processing.
3. Candidate should proceed to the University website, www.custech.edu.ng, or click this link, bit.ly/CUSTECHAdmissions, to upload his/her details for post-UTME screening. Again, the candidate should ensure that he/she has the right UTME subject combination and at least five credits in relevant O’Level subjects, including English Language and Mathematics, as required for the programme selected. The registration is free.

Deadline: Change of institution to CUSTECH and registration for post-UTME should be concluded on or before Sunday, 15th October 2022.
