The Confluence 21 Forum a youths based socio-political Association in Kogi State has officially inaugurated the executives and local governments coordinators to pilots it’s affairs and activities in the state.
The inaugural seasons took place yesterday 17th March 2022 at Hiltop hotel along NAFDAC road Lokogoma Lokoja Kogi State Capital.
The Event which was designed to mark the commencement of the forum activities in the state had the attendance coordinators from the twenty one council areas of the state.
In his inaugural address at the event, the State coordinator of the forum comrade Benjamin Jeremiah disclosed that the forum is not for partisan politics but rather to promote and enhance good governance in the state.
He noted that the forum is equally out to encourage political office holders and elected officials who are already performing well in their representation of the people.
Saying that the forum would move around to recognize and appreciate elected leaders with records of outstanding performance.
Comrade Jerry reiterated that the forum is committed to ensuring that they at all times holds government and public officials accountable to the public adding that they would not relent in taking steps galvanizing support for their members to access political and public offices when needed.
He charged members to be at their best in monitoring and evaluating government activities in their areas in order to enable the forum make demands for accountability to the people whenever the needs arise…. Continue reading
