ABEJUKOLO.  It was a carnival like atmosphere over the weekend  at Abejukolo, Headquarters of Omala Local Government Council of Kogi state when Alhaji Umar Yahaya  former Aspirant for  election into the office of the Executive Chairman of Omala Local Government Council  on the platform of the All Progressive Congress APC,came home on a condolence visit.

Alhaji Umar expressed shock over the sudden demise of the late Hon.Isaiah Mathias when he paid condolence visit to the family of the deceased politician in his hometown Bagaji Odo.

While  stopping over at Abejukolo, he  was besieged by a mammoth crowd  of supporters who were seeing him face to face after the  just concluded  primary election for the  nomination  of APC candidate for  election into the office of executive chairman of Omala LGC.

The politician who took the people by storm in his foray into politics was flanked by an astute politician from Bagaji ward,  Ex.Chairman of the Governing Board of Agency for Adults and Non Formal Education in the state, Honourable Emmanuel Ibrahim Complete and a host of political associates.

At the family house of the deceased politician at Bagaji Odo, Hon. Umar Yahaya , who could not hold back tears, encouraged the parents to take solace in God Almighty whom, he said is  the giver and taker of lives.

He urged them not to dispair in the tragedy that befell them, the people of Babaji Odo Ward, Omala LGA and indeed the entire  All Progressive Congress families across the state.

He promise to lend  helps to the children the deceased politician  left behind, while calling on the Party and well to do members of the society to assist the family in cushioning the effect of the demise of the bread winner.

While commending his supporters for standing by him throughout the process of the primary election charge them to continue to support the party in the forth coming Council elections.

He urged them to vote overwhelmingly for the candidates of the party for the position of Executive Chairman and 11 councillors.
