
Condolence: Kabba Bunu Council Chairman Mourns Demise of Six Persons Involved in Crash.

… Condoles Gov. Ododo, Kogi First Lady, wished injured quick recovery.
The Kabba Bunu Council Chairman, Barr. Zacchaeus Dare Michael, has sent a message of condolences to the Government and people of Kogi State over the loss of lives of some citizens that were involved in a ghastly motor accident along Lokoja Okene road.
Barr. Dare in a statement issued to Newsmen in Lokoja, particularly consoled with Gov. Usman Ahmed Ododo and to the office of the Kogi State first Lady, Hajia Sefinat Ododo.
The Council Chairman lamented the loss of six participants at an event to celebrate the 2025 International Day of Persons with Disabilities.
The victims from Okene, Kogi Central Senatorial District were killed while returning from the event held at the Government House, Lokoja.
They were killed when the bus in which they were travelling was involved in an accident on the road.
Thirteen other persons sustained varying degrees of injuries and are currently receiving medical attention at different health facilities across the state.
Barr. Dare used the statement to Condole with the families of those who lost loved ones, prayed Almighty God to grant them the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
Similarly, the Council Chairman, used the opportunity to wish those who sustained injuries and are receiving treatment quick recovery.
Barr. Dare urged Gov. Ododo and the First Lady to see the loss as very painful, however said it becomes difficult to in this trying period, question the Almighty God for the occurrence.
